The First Week: Check in, Casting, Move in, Oh my!

Well, this is my first post I'm writing from my new Disney apartment!!! It has been a crazy week filled with paperwork, moving, and exploring Orlando. We arrived to Florida on Saturday morning, explored Port Orleans and other resorts and went to Disney Springs for dinner.

Only One More Week + Going Away Party

This time next week I will be in Walt Disney World!!! I am so excited to get back to the parks and show my family around Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (both for the first time!!) and Magic Kingdom. Monday is Check In day where I will find out my work location, apartment, and basically everything else that I don't know yet (aka everything..). I am so excited to begin this new adventure, but I am also very nervous.

Why DCP?

Ever since the fall of 2013, I knew I wanted to participate in the Disney College Program. I had never heard of it until someone from my high school went, and once I saw all her pictures on Facebook, I knew it was something I wanted to do. But I wasn't actually planning on doing the program, I just thought it looked fun.

Application (waiting) Process

Ahh, the dreaded application process, the most stressful part of the DCP so far. This post will have some tips on applying and the timeline of my progress, from applying to acceptance!
On Monday, August 24, applications dropped. I had convinced myself for weeks that I WOULD NOT apply on the first day. Well, as soon as I saw on Facebook that applications were open, I changed my mind: I couldn't wait any longer!

DCP Bucket List

I cannot wait to move to Florida and be able to experience the magic of Disney World every single day! I have decided to make a bucket list so I can make the most of my program and I am going to share that here. I will continue to edit this list if I come up with other ideas and I will be sure to cross them off when I complete them!
